PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

LOUISA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

 

There will be a special meeting held between two members of the Louisa County Board of Supervisors and two members of the Louisa County School Board on Wednesday July 30, 2008.

The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will be conducted at the Public School Administrative Building.

The meeting is to discuss the purpose and scope of the committee.

The Louisa County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the following items at 7:00 p.m. on Monday August 18, 2008, in the Louisa County Public Meeting Room, Main Floor, Louisa County Office Building, Louisa , Virginia:

 

Public Hearing - CUP05-08; Joseph F. and Carol C. Dubrino, Applicants/Owners; request the issuance of a conditional use permit for the establishment and operation of a commercial kennel.  The property is located on the east side of Zachary Taylor Highway (Route 522), north of the Town of Mineral.  The property is further identified as tax map parcels 28-84 and 28-85, in the Mineral Voting District.

 

Public Hearing - Amendment to Section 86-464. Districts Described to add:  PROPOSED ADDITION - SOUTH ANNA AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTAL DISTRICT; Roy E. Hopkins, Mary Jo Hopkins, David W. Osmond, Kimberly O. Hopkins, Cosby L. and Nancy O. Woolfolk, Carly R. and Stephanie Woolfolk, Tom and Carrie Woolfolk, request that the following properties be added to the existing South Anna Agricultural and Forestal District: Tax Map Parcels 57-1, 57-1A, 57-1B, 57-1C, 57-7, 57-8, 57-9, 57-10, 57-11, 57-47A, 56-128, 56-121, 56-122, 56-127, portion of 57-11, 57-11A and 57-11B.  The proposed district addition is located on the east side of Route 646 (Yanceyville Road). The addition is proposed as 586.3 acres; for a new district total of 1450.3 acres.

 

The applicant and any other interested parties wishing to be heard are requested to attend the public hearing.
